Choosing Ski Length

hoosing the right length is dependent on a number of factors. Traditionally these included your height and weight mostly, and of course your skiing ability. To give you a rough idea of what ski length you should ski we have made a little illustration below. If you want to have an aggressive ski setup typically your all mountain skis will fall somewhere between your shoulders and 5cm above the top of your head. The taller the ski the more speed you can expect out of them but the less maneuverable they will become. When it comes to powder or big mountain skiing you really just want to go with skis as big as you can handle the reason for that is that in powder they will give you more float and that translates to a better time. Typically you will be looking for skis your height and taller for those conditions.
